My fuse before getting angry/annoyed has gotten very short
I think it’s great to have/want that, but also want some sprinklings on top whatever they may be.View attachment 514567
Sometimes I read these things and feel really positive. Then other times I read them and think fuck that I want MORE!!
I've had chronic migraines since childhood, so for similar length of time.Eventhough you are trying to be helpful (I've seen other posts regarding this as well), please just leave it be. I appreciate the concern, I do, but have had this for over 35 years and seen the best specialist in the country.
Migraines are a chronic neurological disease characterized by severe headaches. I am choosing the devil I know versus all the ones I don't at this point. I've tried, been poked and prodded and experimented with my body enough.
I will still sometimes complain, because chronic pain sucks. Please allow me that without needing to defend my choices. Thank you![]()
I'm glad you found something that works and changed your life so profoundly. I also appreciate your respectful reply. Every body is different, but it never hurts to learn. Will dm shortly.I've had chronic migraines since childhood, so for similar length of time.
In the last decade or longer (before I got rid of them, several years now), my migraines intensified and would last anywhere from two to four days at a time, anywhere from one to four times per month (typically two to three times per month).
Medicines (several, combined) at max safe doses (and sometimes beyond) would barely take the edge off. I could barely function while they lasted—most daily tasks were difficult, anything scheduled was always in jeopardy, deadlines were becoming anxiety-inducing simply because there was always a potential for sabotage, self-care became non-priorities—meatbag in zombie mode. I came to a conclusion that life isn't worth living and many times entertained the thought of fulfilling that idea.
Fast forward to today and I don't even remember the last time I had one (some time late last year maybe). If I have a mild headache coming on now, it goes away after eating or I just take an aspirin any it's gone. It's really amazing—life is worth living again. If my new routine allows me to live only a few more years, the 99.9% migraine-free life for the past few years would have been worth every fucking penny in what I'm doing now.
I'm offering people a look into my routine, because I know what it's like being unable to function for a good part of a week, multiple times per month, for years and years. What a job-jeopardizing, career-wrecking, depression-inducing situation it is. I also know how life-changing, and frankly life-saving, migraine-free existence is. All my shit isn't all upside down now, I can actually start and finish projects, keep a house clean and organized, etc.
If you're ever interested in learning what might help, feel free to DM me. It's relatively easy and just requires consistency. If not, then... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
