As I said elsewhere yesterday (?), the level of ick seems to be high lately.Some of the recent profile posts are so nasty I’m too disgusted to even red flag them.

It's not a different perspective and there's no need to cite such perspective. I didn't make any specific or isolated situation/conditionsl claims you disputed. I haven't cited "intelligent and welll-educated" and my statement was too broad for you to represent it as lacking perspectives. C'mon. You're correcting or disputing some thing I didn't post.
But you know what, we can certainly go where we don't need to go, which is where you want to go: shall we discuss the extremely dumb shit intelligent and well-educated people do in all sorts of situations, because they're too good for following instructions, or our of inexperirnce, or as a result of overestimation of their smarts, exactly the things that cause them to fall for scams, just like the stupid, uneducated people?

I agreed with your point and added a few other reasons scams succeed.

Sometimes the problem isn’t how people are reacting to you, but what you’re putting out there. Case in point. Maybe some people need to learn a little kindness and self-awareness.
