A lot of the time it is fear of consequence. Not necessarily punishment, just the opposite of what they are hoping to happen. At least for me, it is fear of loss. Sometimes when I open up and say how I feel, I lose people. If I truly feel trust with someone, my guts are coming out, Hannibal Lector style. That happens rarely because I've been burned by so many people. However...

I STILL feel, that if you're talking to someone, and they've proven themselves to be trustworthy, I think it is always the best thing to say how you feel. You're doing yourself a disservice by staying quiet. The fear of their reaction means you care, but it is fear of something that you don't know for sure will happen. If their reaction IS indeed what you feared it would be, that's still a good thing. At least then you know what you have to do to move forward.

Okay so I have this strange habit to choose the wrong line if I am going to pay for my groceries, clothes or whatever I am shopping for. So that's my own fault. lol

But today I didn't or so that's what I thought. The person in front of me paid and there wasn't anyone behind me so i emptied my basket to pay when this woman cut in front simply to "ask something". So I told her "If you had asked I would have let you go first, now I just think you are a antisocial person for cutting in line" I just can't stay silent because I think what she did really was antisocial, she could at least wait her turn or asked me if I was ok with it. Even if she just had to ask something to the cashier.

Or am I wrong about this?

Idk if antisocial is the correct word, but I can see it being rude for sure. When you say "ask something" in quotes like that, did she end up paying for something or just asking the question. Either way it would have been nice to ask you, but if it were me, I'd only get a little ticked if she cut, asked, then payed without saying a word.

She just had to ask something, but nevertheless there was no one behind me, and that store has more employees. Some people need to think more before they act.
