Honestly...not really. Ignorance is bliss...and I'd rather be blissful up to the end rather than waiting in fear for the moment.

Ok, that is a very legit position to take on the matter. I hadn't considered that, but trying to survive would feel exciting, and then seeing a society begin to rebuild...super rewarding. That's awesome

Funny how from everything I've heard people actually seem happier and have more genuine interactions with other people, even with the distance factor since this started...perhaps it is due to the extended period of time in pj's. I know I feel more relaxed generally lol
My therapist had hand sanitizer that had a label on it(not surprising I know) the label said "Because you touch your genitals"
She specifically pointed this out to me, knowing I'd appreciate it....I like my therapist.

People get closer in a time of crisis. I believe that the will to survive is in people's nature, and we know that we have work together in order to fight it. The panic and feeling of hopelesness is created by the bigger powers. Create confusion to make people blind. Create chaos to regain order. Create fear to make people loose control. Etc etc.
But to see people act the right way so much, gives hope for the future
This is also the same reason why so many people are religious
I agree, but it is not the motive for all religious people.

I agree. I also agree that it does give a lot of hope for the future; that in general most people are decent human beings at heart

That's deep. Unfortunately you'd disappear because wether or not you survived to finish the consuming, once all the way consumed you would die and decay, blending in with the earth from which you were made and so in essence disappearing. From another angle, science shows there is no such thing as perpetual energy, energy is always lost. So if you only consumed yourself, even if it was possible to fully consume yourself and regenerate, some energy and part of you would be lost so you would eventually be lost to nothingness
