Ok, so asymptomatics and people who downplay it.... sure there’s some of that. But that doesn’t explain how we can hit a peak 4 weeks after lockdowns. It’s like people have to go out and try to catch it to reach a peak. I just can’t figure out how we hit a peak in two weeks. That means the majority of cases are going to catch it sometime between now and next week. How?
USA is currently number 1 in affected and number 4 in deaths. 164.266 affected and 3.105 deaths

Today I heared that an 101 year old woman survived corona, something that you do not expect. And a hospital in Delft (NL City) is surprised by the ages of most hospitalised people. (Between 43 and 65) So they lied about seniors being most vulnerable... Everybody is just as vulnarable. They lie right in our faces.

Also: People can be infected without knowing it. This I don't bekieve is a lie because this is how it spreads all over the world. But when am I sick? I don't know, if I don't feel sick I am not staying at home.
Confusion.

Lies-Confusion-Blindness-Panic-Chaos.

I believe that Corona is just the beginning. (And no I am not crazy)

Covid-19 is a pandemic. It’s not the flu. I don’t believe conspiracy theories that it’s man made either. I don’t think numbers were hearing really matter for anything until they start on the downward slope. The number of people tested varies in different countries and even different states. The majority of people in my state being tested are front line workers or are to the point of needing to be hospitalized. Not just anyone is being tested. For example, a friend of mine is an EMT. He has symptoms and was tested...btw, it will take A WEEK to get his results! (Which might explain the peak in two weeks...back logged testing). Anyway, the rest of his unit was also tested even though none of them have symptoms, but his family was not tested. Numbers are essentially meaningless.

Hmmm a comment I saw from someone on Facebook. Since I will look through comments when people are having a discussion.

"If the news isn’t lying about how bad this virus thing is, then how come they never show any footage from hospitals in America being overwhelmed with virus patients? They show footage from overseas and some new station has even been caught using movie footage to make it seem like it's so crazy. All these hospitals that people have filmed and then posted where there is NO ONE there for the virus, but the news just said that hospital was overwhelmed with people here in the USA.."

I really don't get why this cat specifically comes into my garden to do his thing. Maybe he has a few shit spots and I'm not alone? Who can say.

I still haven't bought a water gun but the thing is he darts over fence if I charge out. The only way to get close enough to attempt a water strike (lukewarm) is to lie in ambush but then it can be days between seeing him.

He's a little fucker.

I know, it takes a long time to get testresults back. A cousin works in the lab of a hospital but was tested (good thing) She did not have to stay isolated either that week. If you add all those things up , a lot about this situation just doesn't make sense. At work we are split in two teams to spread the risk. But there are two guys that work from 9 to 5 and have contact with both teams, making the splitting totally useless. I just keep being alert, wash my hands abnormally often, wear a facemask if I have to at work and I follow the advice of the experts. It is the lack of "caring about others" what many people do not have.

Any ground spicy pepper sprinkled over the soil will deter cats... cayenne pepper or go spicier...works like magic

Rude. I say, let the poor kitty poop in peace. It’s fertilizer.

I think I got an answer to my question today. The “peak” is a peak in number of deaths, not confirmed cases. If that is correct, the stats make much more sense.

So the fact that news crews aren’t allowed in to film, which would in no way be disrespectful to the patients currently struggling to breathe and the fact that this is contagious, means that it isn’t happening? Maybe the footage of bodies being loaded into trucks in New York will be enough to make the penny drop.

Then it must be correct.
I find the entire situation hard to fathom. My brain hurts if I think about it too much, or see peoples stupid behaviour.
And I think that is for the best. Stay Safe!!

Again not what I wrote lol just the things I see people write on social media in the comment sections.

I think if I truly wrote out my beliefs and views a lot of people would judge me and would probably not wanna be my friend anymore esp because there are a lot of judgement people on this site.

The hospitals are quiet because visitors are not allowed, any and all patients able to be sent home are being sent home to avoid infection and so that these units can be used for Emerg/Critical Care overflow. Many services and staff are being minimized wherever possible. It's eery to see a quiet hospital but it def does not mean the Critical Care units and those trying to perform medicine around the COVID virus are not absolutely working their asses off.
