Thoughts Post your little thoughts.

Been on a certain patch for 6 years and I need to send in a pre authorization for it once a year explaining why I need the patch and give information so my insurance knows why they are paying for it because outta pocket it's over $200.00 bucks for ten little patches once a month. So I tell my new doctor's office what to do and say etc and I call my insurance company to see and nope got denied because my doctor's office didn't write anything explaining why I need the patches. Ugh :/ why can't people do what they are asked to do? I gave them all the information they needed and still failed. If I run out of them I will go through withdrawal and that's not gonna be fun.

I'd be hittin up that office manager.
give them a chance to fix it and if that doesn't work out maybe put a review on Google and healthgrades.. They read them and take those reviews seriously. At least alot of doctors I've worked do because bad reviews can deter potential patients.

And patients = money

Yeah the insurance company lady I was speaking with was going to call them after lunch when they returned and took down my number to call me back after she speaks to them. So we will see what happens and will get this straightened out. :) thanks for the help Miss Snackalicious :P
