Today I begin the process of retuning back to reality after being away for a long weekend. And I return to a very serious meeting regarding my daughter who needs more than the district can provide. A car in the shop that has a $1,000 bill. Several make-up tests to still give, two dogs who will need my attention after being gone a few days, and that realization that life moves on even when you’ve escaped it for a moment.
On the other side I have friends made here that make the above not so bad. A real joy. Thank you.

When someone one day just walks confidently into your private space and makes sure you take notice of her without hesitation and without sweet words and a honey brush to seduce you. Then you take notice because it's someone who knows what she wants without the need to explain and if your soul acknowledges it without you needing to be told then you know something and someone unique has walked into your life.
