Thoughts Post your little thoughts.

Since being diagnosed with Crohn's disease I've noticed my eczema has been sooo crazy and frustrating to manage. Been researching a lot and I read a lot of people with Crohn's began to struggle and deal with bad eczema. So it kinda makes sense why I've been struggling with it so much now.

“Crohn's Disease is more than just a pooping disease.”

I like this quote because it's true.. Plus any disease tbh. So many things people struggle with besides the main symptoms of their diseases.

So much this! Thank you for sharing about it. ❤️

Thread: My dog Penny might have skin cancer. I make the appointment tomorrow, and I'm hoping for the best.

Such a sad story out of Las Vegas the other day about a young NFL player being intoxicated, driving super fast (156 mph), crashing hard into the rear end of a car, and the lady and her dog in the car which he crashed into passing away. No matter if you THINK you can drive after drinking or while intoxicated, just DO NOT DO IT! Call a friend, call a cab, call a Lyft, call an Uber, just anything except getting behind the wheel and driving when intoxicated.

I read about this as well it's so sad to hear. Why I always tell people so much do not drive if you've been drinking regardless of anything. My childhood friend died a couple years ago because he got into his car to drive home and he was drunk and wasn't wearing his seatbelt and went through the windshield and later died in the early morning hours in the ICU. He was young too and now he's gone. People tried to stop him but he just I guess over powered others wherever he was.

So going back to work after almost two years of lockdown is quite emotional, exhausting and challenging.

One does not realize how you have changed your routine and the slow pace you have adopted over the months. I also stagnated to some extent.

Now, after months, you have to get used to the hustle and bustle of the city again and re-adjust your routine to an eight-hour shudder. Your brain needs to function at top speed again with medical terms and legal aspects of the job etc.

The people who got used to me be at home and available have to learn again to accept I am now only available again on weekends.

I am indeed grateful for the normalization that re-emerges challenges and all. It's good to see old friends faces sharing news daily and talking nonsense in the office over a cup of coffee.

Yes despite the challenges I am satisfied and fortunately things are normalizing again to some extent.

So I have always wanted to go see the Northern Lights. Then found out that there are the Southern lights also which can be seen from Tasmania. So a lot closer.
But then today scrolling Facebook I see these pictures of Aurora Australis that have been taken from a town in my state! I need to plan a holiday.

Tired of hurting and beating myself up over you. But I was wrong about you. You had something good but that's not what you want in your life. You could have had it but it was easier to run, easier to keep things as they are so you can feel sorry for yourself, tell yourself what a bad guy you are, she's right when she cuts you down. I can't make you think any differently, but I can do that for myself realizing that you aren't the man I thought you were at all. I saw what you could be, and he was wonderful. Shame to see it go to waste.

"Before you are conscious of being mad, you are first conscious of being. Then, you become conscious of being mad, yet, you remain as conceiver, greater than your conception, 'mad'." —Neville Goddard, At Your Command

Wait, wait, one more: "You cannot serve two masters. Therefore, to take your attention from one state of consciousness and place it upon another, is to die to one and to live to the other."

Bars.

It always fascinates me when people's bad behavior is call out and when unwelcome attention or sexually unwelcome pms are sent then the guilty plays victim and poor me what have I done or they become offensive or sarcastic. While if they make the effort to observe they will see what is acceptable to some and unacceptable to others. Observation is so important even more RESPECT really if you can not show respect do not expect respect and do not cry when you are call out or tell off.

I ran into an ex boyfriend from…. like 16 years ago. Wow, that makes me feel old! He was in a band and I used to go to all these sketchy bars following them around. o_OThe things we do for love! :P Anyway, time is a funny thing. Putting the life back into old friendships just feels good! Still fangirling over him though!:D
