It's always the right choice to protect children. Things they need protected from: low self-esteem, mental/physical/sexual abuse, exploitation, bullies, manipulation, substance use, and so much more. They need us to show them how to live in such a way that they will grow up to protect themselves. But in the mean time, they need our help even if they don't ask for it. And fuck if we as a society try to diminish what all these things look like or how little things can easily lead to them. It feels so good to do what is right but it's hard af to fight against a culture of generations that just don't get it.
You're right miss Lilly. And i can say from experience that every little bit an adult does to help whether that's explaining it wasn't your fault or just being there can make a world of difference.
 
Why does it smell like someone urinated somewhere not even close to the toilet in the bathroom? Where are all the forks? Fucccccckkkk I just did the dishes :eek: What is that smell? How many times do I have to clean the fucking toilet?! Who scratched my pan? Why were my panties thrown across the room and not put in my clean laundry pile? You need to take a shower now. When was the last time you put clean underwear on?

I love this saying (well technically it is a lyric from a really bad German song from the 80's). I'm not sure I ever used it, but it feels it captures my inner me to perfection: I may have resigned, but that's not a reason to joke about life...

It appears that there are many today who confuse kindness with weakness, common courtesy with political correctness, cruelty with strength, and, inexplicably -- to me, at least -- see crudeness as an antidote to political correctness. I'm struggling soooo much. I keep trying my best to overcome all the negativity, but tonight I'm sinking in it. I really need a hug and some one to tell me it's gonna be okay. I know once I finally do get some sleep tonight, I'll feel stronger again in the morning, but right now, I'm gonna cry and sit in my feelings.
