It's been a whole year since my mom passed away. Three hundred sixty-five days without her, and yet it feels as though she just left this world. I love and miss her tremendously, and my heart still aches daily, knowing I must continue living life without her. I look forward to seeing her again one day.

Thanks. I know my mom's spirit is back home and I have her ashes in a urn in my house. Her spirit is free and she'll always be apart of me. I am human though so I'll always mourn my mother and shed a tear or two.

Of course, my intention wasn't to pass comment on how you grieve, rather just offer comfort in the finality of death, as the poem has done for myself.
