You gotta start thinking about yourself, what entertains you, etc. Focusing on feelings of others in order to fit in will do nothing of benefit for you and somebody will eventually shit on you if you continue dancing around other people's trajectories.
Be yourself, let loose, break social garbage, don't imitate those who thrive on attention and high energy interactions, because that shit is draining if you're not a highly extroverted person. It will feel alien af to behave in ways your brain doesn't have the chemistry for.
A lot of social shit out there is fake af and trying to march fake energy will fuck you up, because shit makes no sense—especially when messing around with different cultures and generations.
When you don't have anything postive to contribute, it's better not to say anything at all. No point making your problems everyone else's, people's lives are hard enough.

I completely get why anyone can think this when feeling a bit off, but it can also be isolating and elongate the feeling. I wont pretend to be big on discussing my own feelings, but chatting with friends even if about nothing in particular can help boost a mood/change a feeling.
With this in mind you know where I am, it is what friends are for after all.
