part of me wants closure and part of me is terrified of what comes after it
Just my two cents…sometimes “closure” is a myth. We convince ourselves that one more conversation, one more explanation, or one more answer will finally bring peace. But a lot of the time, it only leaves us feeling worse or creates even more questions than we started with. Sometimes the closure we’re searching for is already right in front of us. The hard part isn’t finding it, it’s accepting it. Peace doesn’t always come from getting every answer; sometimes it comes from deciding that the answers you already have are enough. Obviously, not all situations are the same so maybe this doesn’t apply.

A ton of truth here, at least from my standpoint. “Accepting it”….thats been my struggle. Still learning to accept that the answers I don’t want to hear are probably the ones that I NEED to hear. Still hurts, but mending takes time. Wise words, Lil ❤️

Sweet relief.
Yes, your body will tell you. May not all be happy and clean thoughts.. but the struggle is worth it.

I agree with both, it's a choice. I always go with later, but have taken a chance on the former. Sometimes making peace is the better option.. and getting the closure you seek leaves you more shattered. Or Vise a versa. Either way road is not easy. But things are only as difficult as we make them to be.. you know the answer deep within your gut. Trust yourself.
