Profile Photo Album Campaign

Just curious, if there was enough interest, whether it would be possible to have photo albums attached to profiles? Photos have become a big part of this site and albums would be beneficial for multiple reasons. I don’t believe it would take away from thread traffic, as members like to contribute to various photo topics. But it would allow members to also keep their photos in one place and not get buried in said threads. If the option was there to only allow ‘friends’ to view albums, it would also create a more secure feeling in sharing. Any chance we could make that happen? :)
 
Well, probably no one. But that’s why I asked if it was even possible.
 
You already have the solution for this on this site. Simply go to google photos, and create a photo album account. Simply post the title and link here on your profile page under website address. It's in your profile personal info. section. Then all you have to do is post the link, and anyone can see your pics there. If you want you can create one that other people can add too. But, I think you simply want to share your images. So, google is your solution.

I've created photo albums to share pics with friends here too. I simply gave them the link in the Convo section, so it was all private.

But, you can post a public one you have created for others to simply see your pics. A simple link is all you need.:cool:

P.S. @Stanthropical , see I am the problem solver Stan, and this won't cost you a thing, nor liability, it's off site, and you don't need a monitor. If they post something bad, it's up to google to deal with it. Oh, and YQW Stan!:D
 
I like the idea. Not only for posting my own pics. Albums can be used to sort out those annoying pervert cockwombles. On [redacted] they named Wall of Shame albums. The members take screenshots of the pm when it's getting nasty or annoying. You then put the album on your profile for everyone to see it.

Re-posting private messages is a nasty thing to do. You can always block other users. Do not re-post private content on this website, in forums and chat alike.
 
Actually, I’m sure the site appreciates suggestions.

Not the really bad idea mentioned about posting pm’s, but suggestions in general.
