Ya I guess that's the problem for me. Maybe if I was there when it came out I would have been impressed by the special effects but by the time I watched it I already had effects fatigue

For me I don’t really remember the 1 at the cinema. But I had the chance to see the 2 in IMAX and it was really stunning. Like imma go see the 3 to see how he improved stuff and if new effects etc but not really for the story
