We have day light savings here and I love it. Lots of people don’t though
Been to Ireland briefly Cpl , but was work stuff so didn’t get to see that much but would like to spend more time. Some stunning scenery
I love Italy, my fav’ Country
In Winter what time does it get dark where you are with that ?
Some days is before 4pm here, dark going to the office, dark going home. Find depressing, my S.A.D kicks in
Here in winter it gets dark around 5:30/6pm. In summer is around 8:30/9pm
I loved Italy. Would love to go back and see more.

Yeh I couldn’t believe it stayed light there for so long.
One of best things about living here is easy access to so many Places/Countries.
Can do days trips even to quite a few. Even Italy if go to Northern Cities like Milan , Florence, can do in about 2.5 hours and day trip them for about 50 English pounds. Mad when costs more than that on a train here to go about 50 miles return ha
Yes that would be incredible. I have a friend in London who is always travelling different places on the weekend.
Here to go to a different state it takes atleast 2 hours in a plane and cost a few hundred dollars.
Yea is a great hub for travel. And if stick to hand luggage for day/weekend trips is cheaper than an expensive cab ride across London
Make sure you make the list of it then. And make me jealous with tales of your trips haha

My friend spent Christmas in Australia in nice 30ish ° weather then went home to icy cold. She wasn’t happy.
Went from Turkey in Bikini to fizz for New Years in wooly hat ha
Do most Australians have ‘Christmas dinner’ as in Turkey and everything in that weather ?
In the past more so. Now a lot of people will do seafood on the bbq. But most I know still do the whole turkey dinner.
