Yup this sounds about right. I chased too many highs and ended up in a very shitty place. If I'm looking for anything here now, it's an actual connection with someone, not a sexting partner

Usually I go to someone I've known for a while and we vibe a lot, half the time don't even do the sexting stuff just enjoy each others company.

But timezones play havoc with that. I might catch her as I wake up, but she's going to bed at that point. So fleeting moments at best.

That happens, in the chat rooms I barely chat with anyone, and usually just post porn I enjoy.

And the DMs I get are usually on a terrible level of telling me "Hot" or "Wish that was me".

I usually just devolve into chatting about kinks, fantasies and what not. That's much more enjoyable than purely talking about wow that is hot or a piss poor attempt at RP.
