Group Banter Race to a million

Not too bad. Could definitely be worse. Every room needs painted. Every outlet needs replaced because the previous owner or owners decided just to paint over everything. I got to put down a small floating floor in the kitchen. But no plumbing. No roof leaks. Don't need new carpet. Don't need new doors. So yeah not too bad.
Hopefully thy didn’t put spray foam behind the outlet covers to stop drafts…. I have seen that done 🙄 But I think the covers are not too much unless you wanna go GFCI right? What color floor you going with?

No, there's no spray from behind the covers. That would totally suck and a fire hazard. I had to replace the outlets as well as the covers. They painted over the outlets, they painted over the switches. I already replaced the ceiling fans and light fixtures a while back. Only had do four gfci outlets. All the rest are standard. The flooring is called Tawny oak.

Total fire hazard, but some people they can’t go buy the cardboard pieces for it 😂 That doesn’t seem too bad. What room colors did you go with or have you repainted them yet? Tawny oak 👌 nice choice.

Well, technically, you can put the g f c I outlet in the breaker box. That makes it a hell of a lot easier, but it does fill up the breaker box. And you have to be comfortable opening up a breaker box. Which most people aren't. You can also have the first g f c I outlet feed the rest of the outlets if there is multiple on one breaker. But I totally understand the frustration if there's g f c I is connected to g f, c, I, connected to g f c I vonnected to g f c i etc. Gets a little trippy

The living spaces I go with "cold river". It's mix of light blue with a slight tint of teal. The kitchen and bathroomsI go with "blizzard fog", which is a little bit of white and gray. In the bedrooms, I go with peaceful slumber, which is a darker blue with hints of gray.
