I dunno. To me a casserole is a mix of stuff, usually meat and veggies and sometimes pasta or rice all baked together in a big dish. Just this time eggs was the protein

Yeah there's usually some kind of sauce in there too, sometimes gravy. My mom does a Thanksgiving casserole using the leftovers after we're sick of eating it the usual way. Throws the turkey and stuffing and peas and gravy in a dish, covers it in mashed potatoes, and bakes it
