Legitimately my favourite sport in the world, has more in common with basketball than most other football codes around the world (fast paced, high scoring, height and athleticism and 360 degree awareness all important, some traditional differences in types of players suited to positions but the modern game moving towards guys who can play multiple roles, everyone has to attack and defend, but also full contact, and kicking is more valuable than passing by hand (and goals can only be scored by foot).
There are some cool YouTube videos, the US audience usually makes too big of a deal over the big hits "without pads" but that's not my favourite part of the game haha
It sounds good. I'll have to have a look of youtube. I've probably seen about 10 minutes of it in my entire life. It having more in common with basketball is intriguing.
