That's fair. I have music that I never really liked all that much at the time but there's alot of happy memories and nostalgia in them now so I can listen to it and actually enjoy it.
I miss early 2000's deathcore & metal it was so good then the posers came along & fucked up metal

Misfits are cool I only knew their Danzig stuff. Ciaran recommended later stuff with their current (I think) singer. It's great
I know all mainstream isn't bad but as an alt girl & punk/metal musician mainstream has given me grief as an artist & I was asked to sell out before by a producer who didn't help me at all so maybe I'm a bit jaded
I grew up loving punk rock for me Michael Graves was the best singer Famous Monsters album Danzig was the original singer & Gerry O the bassist took over on vocals after Michael Graves left the band
