I’m actually lucky bc I got a break on tuition cuz my parents work at another college in my state. So my debt won’t be quite as crushing. But that’s certainly not the case for everyone

If Australia hadn't brought in free tertiary education, my Dad's side of the family would never have gotten the opportunity to train to become teachers and nurses, and I wouldn't have been as privileged as I have been all my life (if I'd existed at all, in that alternate timeline haha)
