He's the main like mechanic/tech guy at his work so his boss makes him work like double shifts or not give him breaks were he has to catch up on days worth of no sleep so sometimes we don't get a lot of time & like me being awake in days & him on nights dosen't help I need to be noctuneral again

Some bosses don't care about not giving employees breaks unfortunately. There's laws and rules, but if the employees never bring it up to who enforces them, then the bosses keep getting away with it
