I too scared.
Had my eyebrow pierced three times, first when I was 20 then got double when I was 26 just have now use to have my lip in my middle, two in one ear one in the other septum & planning on like sux to seven more
I wanted to go to half an inch but I had to take them out for a job I had & then one of my piercings got ripped out & scarred my ear
Take it tattoos are off the table too?

Yea me personally I never liked the big gauges look at all. Wasn't for me and I too had an earring ripped out. Took only 8 stitches though
I'm actually surprised my ears went back down to almost normal size now I just rock cool or chunky earrings
