"grunge" was just a thing the media decided to call that era of music. Cause they were all quite different. Nirvana was a hardcore punk band pearl jam had elements of blues rock, soundgarden was nearing psychodelic, alice in chains was nearer to metal. So what even is grunge???? Plaid and messy hair??? Oh okay.
My fav grunge bands are prob soundgarden, alice in chains, gruntruck and Dino jr.
Also stone temple pilots. Highly underrated
Genres are mostly bollocks anyway. Good artists and bands don't let themselves get confined
