I also (still no spoilers!) appreciated the villain better, and the performance of the actor. Like the character was still heinous but I still liked him better, as a villain. If that makes sense

He was fantastic
A good villain is so important. And I feel like lately some villains in various thing have just been "misunderstood" and that's okay from time to time. But sometimes you just want the a classic tale of good vs. evil. So a really hateable villain is so fun!
