Okay, so you'll have a crowdfunder for meds. Why is that a problem? Or you'd use health insurance through work. Or some other charitable problem. There's often a way and obstacles are exaggerated to a degree.
That's media exaggeration. I've never in my life seen anyone brandishing a weapon and I live in "Chiraq." The only place you'd have to worry about and hear such things is small bad areas of major cities, the ghetto—think bad areas of Liverpool, Cleveland, Inner-city London boroughs like Westminster and Camden.
