Group Banter Race to a million

I want to be the sort of American, warning labels are made for.

Also before I go for a bit.

Here is a serious and sobering story from yesterday.

While at work I saw an old gentleman sitting in a chair in one of the corridor looking forlorn. Although its not my place job wise, I felt it was my place human wise , so I asked him if he was okay.

He was sat there face down locked on the floor, till I realised he was looking at his shoe and his lace had become undone. I asked him if he needed me to do it up for him

He looked up at me, looked a little confused at first, and then said that he'd "forgotten how to do it". I said no worries I'll do it. So i did and he gave me a little smile and I wished him a good day.

I then asked a carer if he was okay sitting there alone and they said they were keeping an eye on him and that he had dementia.

And then I just felt sad, because imagine forgetting how to do something as simple as tie your shoes

So remember to always aim to be kind to those who you feel deserve it and to check in on those who may seem like they need a little extra support because we could all be that man sitting in the corridor.
