Since you brought it up, I saw that and I was like oh yeah that guy's good at the acting
But I was wrong
Rami Malek is a GREAT, not good, actor. He is great
I love that movie. It fucks with reality to create properly paced Hollywood drama, and it has some REAL clunky dialogue (“we need to get experimental!”) but it’s so fun and captures the basic feeling of the band

He is very good in Nurenberg, JS
I think the only other thing I’ve seen him in was the James Bond movie where he was the super creepy villain
I didn't know the history of the band really. But I know more of their songs than I thought I did. I liked the movie

Ftr, Freddie doing a solo album was NOT a huge betrayal that broke up the band and led to them not speaking for years. That was total Hollywood fiction to create a crisis that could be resolved in the final act
