Y’all need to do the thing my dad does, where you look ahead at how long till work’s over, then look backward the same amount. Each time you do that, the backward time will have gone twice as fast, so it makes it seem like time is going faster than it is

Like say you’re done at 5, so at noon you have five hours to go. If you look back 5 hours from noon, it’s 7am

Then if you do that again at 1pm, you have 4 hours to go, so looking back 4 hours from 1 is 9am

So it makes it feel like two hours have gone by in the space of an hour

If you write it down it might make more sense
12pm forward to 5pm is like 12pm back to 7am
1pm forward to 5pm is like 1pm back to 9am
2pm forward to 5pm is like 2pm back to 11am

So if you focus on the “back” hours, time is moving twice as fast!
