In the women's, yes. No other countries come close to Canada and USA. It's a growing game, other countries are getting better. But still nowhere close.
For the men's side it's a little more competitive. Canada and US are still the top, especially with Russia not allowed to compete. Sweden and Finland are always impressive, Czechia is always competitive and up and comers like Germany, Switzerland, and Denmark are fully capable of sneaky wins.
Well let’s hope the other countries keep getting better! Competition yo!!!

Don’t a lot of the NHL players come from some of those countries? There isn’t a professional women’s league, correct?
Yes lots of them. Canada, US, Sweden, Finland are all entirely NHL rosters. Possibly czechia too I can't remember.

And there is a pro women's league. There's been many attempts to create a viable women's league and it seems like they've finally done it. PWHL. It's only a few seasons old but it's growing. Lots of fans. It's awesome!
