Sinners was the best movie of the year. The academy thought otherwise

Yet it was a perfect film and didn't have two stupid scenes in it that should have disqualified One Battle After Another. Which is also a great film, except the last stupid scene is stupid and coming back after getting shot in the face is just so stupid!

I wanted Sinners to win but Paul Tomas Anderson should probably have multiple Oscars before this so I'm happy for him
