Fun fact: My grandmother pierced my ears when I was 8 and staying with her in St. Lucia. I removed the earrings as soon as I returned to Canada.

Yes that's how I got it didn't realise till I went in the shower. I thought it looked ok so I left it in and been there for 20 years now.
Finally threw in the towel a couple of days and began wearing my glasses.
