Banter Random Facts About Yourself

I do know all the reindeer names, as well as extra ones that appear in various awful christmas movies because I have a significant portion of my brain devoted to hoarding vast amounts of information about things I don't like or care about whilst stubbornly refusing to retain anything remotely useful or interesting.
I have a similar problem, except my brain retains everything....literally everything that enters it, whether I want it to or not.

To piggy back off my previous post about masks, I realized recently that the defense mechanism that I've used most of my life to learn groups of people and then blend in with them so as to not allow myself to seem weird or unusual has allowed me to be anybody I want to be. I may not know deep down who the real me is anymore, but at the same time I could be anybody that I or you want me to be, and for some reason I find that to be a fascinating fact about myself.
lol Well I do agree that it indeed a fascinating fact lol but I don't think you're alone with that lol :) ..Blending in is easy ..Connecting is hard :)

wish I could trade all the memorized song lyrics in my head for something useful... like advanced math or advanced understanding of biological phenomenon or the advancement of curing cancer

I know two out of those three and I'll ask, what do you want to know them for and why do you think they would be useful? I agree with MissLed, we were created with a specific purpose in my and have the knowledge best suited for that purpose. The other stuff would just weigh you down in my opinion.

I get asked more times than I care to why I'm quiet and why I'm so smart or my thoughts so deep and it took me a while to answer, but it's because I've lived multiple lifetimes worth of experiences in 33 short years. I've had 3-4 times the heartache, pain, love, loss, abuse, neglect, joy, and sorrow than the average person. This isn't a brag, it just is. I had experienced more...life...by 18 than most people had by 80, and then I only continued to do and experience. Through all of it, I've learned so many crazy life lessons and nuggets of wisdom, that I couldn't share all of them if I tried...but I'll share the ones I can as long as I'm able!
