Banter Random Facts About Yourself

I once butchered the national anthem in front of several thousand ppl at a 4th of july festival. (Had been front man in a hard rock band all day, throat was gone but per our 12 year tradition at this festival I would close our show singing the anthem to kick off the fireworks)

I never sang it again after that, opted to play it on guitar or sax instead or declined the opportunity alltogether.

I get that. It's even worse with new year eve's parties, they are the worst. It just feels forced, there is not really anything to celebrate in my opinion and it lasts for ever. Or maybe I'm just old and hate it when I have to go to bed late... :rolleyes:

I’m all my life I can say that I have had 2 really good New Years worth being awake for. now I don’t bother staying up. And yep I am old and enjoy bed hahaha

I love it for the opposite reasons it's the two days when nobody other than people I want to speak to are going to call or demand anything from us. Just us and ours wrapped in our happy bubble for at least two days where we get to be together with no interruptions.
