Random Thoughts, hypothetical questions.

The sheep generally do not like the sheep dog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for extreme violence when needed. The difference though, is that the sheepdog cannot and will not ever harm the sheep, Any sheepdog that harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed from society. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or republic such as this. Still the sheep dog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that wolves do really exist. They prefer that he would not tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports wearing camouflage and holding rifles, or be somewhere distant holding the line keeping the wolves at bay. The sheep would rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, paint himself white, and say BAA. So the question comes to bare to the flock, what then happens when the wolves show up, and the entire flock has to try to hide behind one lonely sheep dog? Bottom line is the sheep despise the sheepdog until they are caught in a situation that requires the skill set of one.

I often hope that we as a species do not make it outside of our solar system. That gives us a limited time on this planet, we should be making better use of it.
