"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

Hello friends! It's me... Naughty_BBW_Librarian

You see, when I first joined the site, I was looking for something specific and I knew that being upfront in my username would accomplish that. Little did I know, I'd find something so much more than what I expected or deserve. And I'm grateful for that daily.

And that got me thinking... is this username a true reflection of myself? No... it wasn't. I'm so much more than those three descriptors. So, after some deep soul searching, I have a new name! But it's still the same me!

For my very Lexicon !

I think perhaps love comes from finding someone you feel utterly comfortable with, someone who makes you comfortable with yourself. It's like...finding yourself, or maybe it's like finding the other part of yourself.

Truer words have never been spoken. I like this other part of myself you've helped me find.

PS: You caught me on a proof-reading day; making sure I have the last few chapters correct before proceeding. I'm actually having a 'block' day with the words refusing to flow. Re-reading often sparks the flame that melts the block. I would have missed it was I not focused on all my mistakes.

Now I feel aweful for mentioning it.

Editing is such a tedious job!

Would you believe that I intentionally misspelled wizard to see if you noticed?! :p:rolleyes::cool:

Now that's interesting. I have always spelt it 'aweful' and no one (editors) has ever corrected it. A quick google search on several dictionary sites has most indicating 'awful' is the correct way. I could state the intent was full of awe, rather than a quality of 'terrible', but that would not be truthful.

I stand corrected. :)

That IS interesting! But the real question is... will you change how you spell it or stick with your original spelling?

The word, awful, used to mean “full of awe,” and not just the wonder we experienced in the presence of great beauty, but the terrible horror we encounter in war and depravity, such as that of the Holocaust.

The word, awful, is really misused when we apply it to food, clothing, or other things that do not suit our taste. The word, awful, is not superficial; nor is the word, awesome, which has been utterly stripped of its original meaning. It is, in fact, overused by commercial interests (and should not be used at all) to define short-lived events instead of phenomena: a tsunami, an avalanche, or an earthquake is awesome — not a football game

The issue now will be, the mind will war between habit and the fact I know another spelling version. As long as I keep it the same throughout a single manuscript should suffice. There is always MS Word's 'find and replace' if I do get too erratic.
