Oh... Wait... The term “triple whammy” refers to the concurrent use of an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor or an angiotensin-II receptor blocker (ARB), with a diuretic and a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), including cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors.

That's not exactly what I tried to express:oops::p

Well the ACE or ARB is supposed to limit the amount of ventricular remodeling that occurs in heart failure... they both block the same thing so prescribing both at the same time is bad.

Diuretics deplete body water so overdoing it stresses the kidneys. NSAIDS constrict blood vessels (which is why they stop a headache or pain) so constricted blood vessels to a kidney not making urine is... bad.

Bad...but as in "bad boy"? No? I think it's better to just go back to the double whammy. I'm more comfortable with that....
