Video Gaming Sims 4

Anybody into Sims 4? I'm curious to try it out, but 8 expansion packs/add-on's+game is like fkng $200. Am I missing something.

I remember building elaborate Sim Cities some years ago and unleashing various catastrophes onto my cities.
 
I didn't love it as much as I loved Sims 3. It was too basic when they released it and they've been way too slow to release packs that give it the features of 3 that were so much fun.
 
I have sims 4 and I bought the pets one too but sadly my laptop's motherboard went out so I can't play it anymore now :( I miss it tbh especially when you add a lot of mods and make it seem more RL than just the standard way the game comes.
 
I need to come to this section of the forums more often. I just discovered this thread.

If you are into some morbid stuff, I know there is a mod that allows sims to kill other sims in tons of different ways in the Sims 4. It's configurable too.

There is also a drug mod if you want to get your sims addicted to drugs.

There's also a zombie mod that I've seen videos on.

I don't have the game myself but I do watch GrayStillPlays (the guy who's video you have posted) and other YouTubers that make funny & morbid Sims 4 videos.

The expansions are pretty expensive. They typically go on sale often and I'd say wait for then to buy any packs you're interested in. Most of the packs I feel arent worth full price anyway. I've been playing Sims 4 since launch, so I have almost every pack. Just missing the Island Living and University packs

I love it, its one of my favorite games ever.

Oh holy shit, we have a Sims thread! :O

I only have a few, City Living, Island Living, Get Together, but I've heard those are some of the better ones to go with. I also play with Personality Please, and Roburky Meaningful Stories. I tried Slics of Life. Too much chaos. XD

I didnt mind slice of life, but I found t hard to maintain a happy household when theres more than 3 sims with that mod installed.
