The radio station from my formative years was the (then) totally anarchic 2JJ (later 2JJJ on the fm band), part of our much loved and cherished public broadcaster the ABC - Australian Broadcasting Corporation. For the last number of decades its been 2MBS Fine Music Sydney, a community radio station about to celebrate their 50th year of broadcasting and without whom we would've been stuck with just am radio for a lot longer. Can't help but give them a huge shout out as they play the broadest range of music possible (mainly classical, then jazz but everything else gets a look-in) and all the people doing the work care passionately about the music. And I'm a lifetime subscriber.
