Ok on top of my mind - Weather Understanding, Famine avoidance, Global water management, Global integrated transportation systems (GPS), Earth's plates and thus understanding Earth Quakes, Global warming, Planetary defense from the possible asteroid, Better limbs for amputees due to robotic or exoskeleton work for astronauts, stronger drought and extreme condition surviving crops.
Yes to improve one's own soul, one should peer inside, but also get a perspective on the outer periphery

Moon Landing was no hoax. It is really really bizarre how it only comes out of the USA itself.
1) Russia was the biggest enemy during the Cold War, would they not end up promoting and say the USA is lying.
2) The same rule goes to China, they have one of the world's largest telescopes they can say the USA lied and make it all so wrong. They can take detailed photographs of craters that Americans landed on and show that it is empty-untouched.
3) Nasa is not the only space agency. Korea, Japan, EU, China, Russia, India all have accepted it
4) Last Apollo mission left a Lazer pointer for some experiment. with a powerful telescope, you can actually see it, I have seen it at my city's planetarium.
This along with "Flat Earth" is the biggest cult that is there outside.
