The 1st date, he arrived with an orchid corsage, went to dinner at a 5 star silver service restaurant, then a box at the ballet followed by a big bunch of flowers on the Monday. 3rd date this week end and so far, we've done nothing but kiss good night when he dropped me home. That kinda class is almost extinct today.

That's one hell of a first date. I hope this doesn't come across as cynical, but where do you go from there? I mean, I understand the whole first impression thing, so to maintain that level of romance has got to be difficult. I'd say he's a keeper... from what I've read.

By the way, just to stay in line with the topic of discussion, I have never had a sugar daddy. Sorry. I did have a guy that used to buy me golf balls all the time at an online golf game, which are not cheap, I'll have you know. But that's as close as I've ever gotten to having a sugar daddy.

I don't believe he does it to impress. If I thought that was his reason, I don't think I'd have agreed to go. I'm learning, its just his normal lifestyle. The same way MacDonalds and a movie is my age group normal, this is just what he does. He's mentioned other things he's done similar, doing what he wants simply because he likes doing it, following his impulses and doing what he wants on the 'spur of the moment'. He told me that he left a love-less marriage a few years ago and is just enjoying himself in his middle years and simply likes company as he does so. I've asked what he does for a living and the reply was, he worked hard to build up a future for his family but since his divorce and with no reason to continue doing it, he sold his business to pay her out and using what he has left, he 'dabbles', his words. I guess in time, I'll find out more about the circumstances but for now, I'm just enjoying being with him.
