The late Dean Potter I'm guessing in Yosemite National Park

"I teach you the Overman. Man is something that shall be overcome. What have you done to overcome him?"

Nietzsche (through old Zarathustra).

Edit: Potter died for it though, has to be said.
Mother Nature is the great equalizer.

@SweetLesGirl - Italy is scary currently. I got these today. These are the most crowdest places, and it just is empty.

As for pollution, there was a gaze over China

@CrystalMarker - That is a good sign. Warmer but still time to be careful.

Flowers always bring a smile - This is a Camellia Flower, strange, symmetric and beautiful.

@M_Bluey - Well nature is crazy as well. Ibex are known climbers of straight walls. Potter and Hunt both died in that park sadly.

I mean I'm drawn to 'em I won't lie. I find this particular mindset to be fascinating tbh. To go into the realms of calculation wherein a single mistake is likely mortal, a binary game of live or die.

Sounds like waffle but it's what this rare breed do. There's a good Spanish documentary on youtube that charts the BASE transition of 6 friends to Wingsuit flying. During the course of filming their exploits they begin dying one by one.

It's a fascinating watch, @Pinguu, if you fancy it, I'll link it you.

@M_Bluey -someone being safe and drawn to breaking normal boundaries I understand and in fact quite something out of this world. However, those videos of people jumping on the corner of buildings I feel are to get a reaction from the viewer than something like this where it is a personal experience. Though as we both feel, it gets tragic as people keep trying to push the boundary like some sports life has no replay button.

Please do share the documentaries, I gobble up anything fun. Thank you.

@CrystalMarker - other things you can try

1) Spicy seeds, birds don't feel the heat from the spices, squirrels do :D they would feel that a lot
2) metal slinky - so I saw once someone had put on a metal slinky around the pole. So when squirrel tried to grab it the whole springy motion was too much for it
3) baffles - they are like wide cones that could be bolted around a pole.

I'll have to let you know what our results are after trying some of these out :D
