That is something

This one sounded funny and silly to me

So, India has 1.3 Billion people, the PM there said, "Hey guys, lets all not come out on Sunday, let's create a dent on the spread"

On the face of it who would listen? I mean people, where it was advised, are doing most bizarre of things. Moreover, it was not at all mandatory. But look at the outcome.

No soul in sight. No automobile. Only one dog sleeping right in the middle of the road.

If only we could follow this in the UK
Idiots crowded the beaches and places like Malham Cove as it was a sunny Mothers Day
People were really close and not the 6ft apart they should have been
I possibly contracted what we think is Covid19 by administering 1st aid on a colleague at work a week and half ago
So be warned it's easy to catch it and it makes you feel like sh1t. I am finally starting to feel better

So yeah let's follow India's example and stay at a distance from people
Gets off my soap box :D

Probably never see anything like in our life time again .

@Goth @SweetNSpicy @MissLed - We traverse boundaries with nature and this is the nature hitting us back. Feels like once a generation admonishing. Seeing how numbers are swinging all over the world, I do fear India might be one with the highest tragedy. The density of the population is really high. Flatten the curve sort of thing won't work there.

Somewhere around the third week of January, there was this Epidemiologist doing a press briefing. He was asked if this disease would reach Europe, and would all be affected. His reply was chilling, he said - the whole world would be affected, it is not a question of IF but rather WHEN.

The Federal Health Minister of Canada has announced that the federal government will enact tough enforcement measures if Canadians don’t take self isolation seriously which includes prison and massive fines. We are where Italy was three weeks ago and look at the heartbreaking catastrophe over there. Families losing loved ones who died alone. Doctors making unbearable decisions as to who lives and dies because of shortages of bed and equipment. The military having to deal with the mass numbers of bodies. Yet, people just are not getting the seriousness and mortality rates of the virus. My spirit is broken.

It is only in the dark emptiness of space a star is born. By striving and pushing good thoughts, ideas, the information we maybe change the world a bit.

Don't feel broken...

The sky can have colours, Rainbows can be flat, Dolphins can fly, the Sea can be calm.
