I hope I post my feedback in the right place here and I hope the developers can find it somewhat helpful...
First of all, I am generally speaking happy with the new design. Of course I still have to get used to it and I'll miss the old one for a while, but aside from that I am fine with it. I like how I can easily turn on darkmode now and I that I can switch around the chatroom-tabs (wish I could do the same with the other chat-tabs as well).
So I am not completely opposed to the new chat, but there are some things that upset me a little. Allow me to elaborate:
- First of all, I really dislike how I am not able to hide my location anymore, even as a registered user. For me this is by far the most annoying change and I sincerely hope that'll be changed soon.
- I miss the old "be-beep" notification sound. I am aware that there is a list of notification sounds to choose from, but I couldn't find the old one.
- Me and others I have chatted with encountered way more crashes since using the new chat. I had maybe one disconnect in a week back on the old chatroom, now I have about one every hour. But I can imagine that'll be take care of soon.
- I cannot verify this, but I think the dick pic filter doesn't work as well as it used to. I forgot to save the pics for reference though.
