It's just dumplings in different languages... Same thing in that region of the world with barely any variation (we have all of those ethnic foods in Chicago and some of them are mostly the same thing with nearly same ingredients lol). They come filled with mushrooms, potatoes, sauerkraut, various meats, cheese, even fruit... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The ones my Grandfather made were vegetarian and a bit sweet but I do like most kinds of dumpling...except the sauerkraut ones.
I've only made them myself a few times, they are a lot of work. Home made is the best and even better if they're home made by someone else lol
