I have a little story that might help. On a completely different group chat site, I knew a woman that was just a magnet for drama and trolls. She swore she hated drama, etc. IRL her favorite tv shows were those "Real Housewives of you-name-it" and their ilk - you know the ones with all the sniping, conniving and meanness. After many months of me telling her to let it go, water off a duck's back and all - it finally occurred to me that chat drama was merely her way of participating in a "show" like those she watched. And I was just playing some sort of role, telling her it wasn't her fault - I'm sure like one of the roles in such shows.
Thread: it annoys me when I'm foolishly slow on the uptake. But, I blame pop "culture" for that one.

I cant agree more and try to get others involved in they dramas add to it the gossip and so on or to get you on they side to help them dislike someone. I always say you dont need a army to help you dislike someone you dont like someone dislike them alone you dont need me to help you because the person you dont like may be likeable to me and we need to have respect for others choices of friends we cant like all but i dont have to like/dislike all those you like/dislike. And if i have a problem with someone you are friends with then its my problem not yours and i dont need to try and convince you he/she is up to no good or talk bad about that person to you.

This is supposed to be a fun place.
Very few of us will actually ever meet but people get jealous if someone they like chats with other people who they’re not likely to meet up with.
