That's kink shaming. And kink shaming is one of the things that annoy me everyone can do whatever they want to as long it's legal and they don't go into your personal space with it.

I do like to correct people, usually teachers or police officers etc, those that are supposed to know better, but I am thinking with the grammar Nazis, its more about having OCD and I dunno if they have any control over it really.

Sometimes its construed as leading on, but in fact that was never the intention. Perhaps consider that the person just didn't wanna hurt your feelings. Didn't know how to say it.. um maybe they changed their minds after talking to you for a while. I dunno its not always cut and dried like that. But, if they are genuinely assholes, yeah that would be annoying.
