In what sort of situation? Those are unreasonably extreme choices placing one in precarious positions down the road. Everything isn't in black and white.

Maldives. Sounds more exotic, secluded, quiet and peaceful. Singapore just seems more more of the same busy life.

Fingers in gloves. Not sure how I'd have toes in gloves. There are gloved toe socks, but that's another story...

Surf and Turf seafood meal or all seafood meal?

chopsticks, unless I'm eating fried rice—then I sometimes get too impatient

get woken up an hour early by birds, or be unable to fall asleep for an hour because of a noisy neighbor?
 
birds. Better to lose an hour and not have to face the alarm clock, and, well...birds

hike under a full moon or in broad daylight (no safety concerns)
 
Early birds start chirping at like 2 a.m., so I'll take a sleep loss of just one hour.

Daylight. Moonlight gives you no benefit when exercising or being awake during that time.

asparagus or brussel sprouts with steak dinner?
