Touring the US - Drinks on drinks

Hey all, I am a traveling writer in entertainment industry. Every week i'm in a new city with a touring company and love to meet people while out on the road. Doenst mean sex is involved, just means drinks and normal conversations (but also not limited to that, who knows?)... take it from there. I'm NOT bi but willing to meet with other guys also for drinks - getting to know locals and what makes the city tick.

Who wants to meet up and shoot the breeze and go from there? I can post my sked if people are interested. Its time this community had some real get togethers. IF you wanted to host one, post here also!

Absolutely no disrespect to you, but I was envisioning a creepy van pull up, window rolls down slowly, a man leans over and asks, "Do you want some candy, little kid?"

Hahaha Just my weird mind and the thought of a traveling writer looking for prey :eek: good luck with your encounters.

LOL Fair enough but if you ever traveled a lot or worked in las vegas for any period of time you would understand the idea of constantly meeting new people and networking on a weekly basis. Strangers meet in bars all the time, so this is actually one step less scary than that perhaps. There are many like minded people in business and hospitality that meet on a regular basis through the internet -- just look at the numbers on match or any of the networking sites. Its not for everyone but thats why there are so many ways to meet new people. :-)

Indeed but I am just me. (i know that's not the point) Of course a conversation or chat is always good first if there is an interest personally. I have been a promoter and often just announced a time and place for meet ups/happy hour and hundreds of people show up to mingle and meet new friends. :-)
