Triviabot needs to learn English.

Many many times, in the Trivia room answers have not been accepted because the Triviabot has been programmed with a 1982 Commodore Vic20 by the looks of things.
Even taking in to account that Americans have not really grasped the concept of the "English" language, the spelling is atrocious.

The former Emperor of France Napoleon, being spelled Napolean being the final straw.
I can readily accept that the questions are leaning heavily towards US subjects, let`s face it you need all the help you can get.

But please please please reprogramme the bot with 'Proper English' instead of Yankenese.

You're ridiculous.

Trivia's answer set has been edited by several hundred people from all over the world over many years.

I should mention that the website is owned by an American, hosted in America, run by Americans...

Yeah and we are all familiar with American "English" they can't even spell aluminium correctly, and just because triviabot is a cumulation of answers set by Hundreds of people doesn't mean they always now what they are doing.
The rate of incorrect spelling and incomplete answers is shocking, but then that is half the fun of the room.

And I can now add "Yankenese" to my CV under languages, written and spoken.

Brilliant. Anything else?
Yeah, despite my post seeming like a complaint, it was just an observation, in fact the room was a brilliant addition to an already great site.
Many thanks, just a shame more people don't realise how much good banter the quiz generates.
Give a big pay rise to the person who thought of it.

Oh and a Very Merry Christmas from me.

Yeah, despite my post seeming like a complaint,

Seemed more like a flurry of disparaging remarks based entirely on presumptions.

it was just an observation,

My experience is that there are answers and questions in British and American English alike and I've played that particular Trivia since minute it went live on FCN. If you haven't experienced the same, you must be operating on some serious selective amnesia.

I was just having fun and if you were offended by my comments then i apologise, but seriously the room is brilliant fun.
